Ep 28. Nen x And x Ren

Gon and Killua have just completed their training with Wing, and are now ready to learn more about Nen. In this episode, they learn about two important concepts related to Nen: And and Ren.

And is a technique that allows a Nen user to control their aura and use it to sense the aura of others. Wing demonstrates And by blindfolding Gon and Killua and having them try to detect his aura. They struggle at first, but with practice, they are able to sense his aura more easily.

Ren, on the other hand, is a technique that allows a Nen user to increase their own aura output and thus increase their physical and mental abilities. Wing warns that using Ren can be dangerous, as it puts a huge strain on the body and can even be fatal if overused.

To further their understanding of Nen, Gon and Killua decide to visit the top-tier Nen user that helped Hisoka during the Hunter Exam. They hope to observe his aura and learn more about Nen from him.

Meanwhile, Kurapika is determined to pass the fourth phase of the Hunter Exam and become a licensed Hunter. He successfully completes a written test, but the next phase requires him to capture a certain number of spiders that are hidden throughout the city.

Kurapika sets out to find the spiders, but quickly realizes that they are not easy to catch. He enlists the help of Leorio, who is initially reluctant but quickly agrees once he realizes the reward for capturing all the spiders is a hefty sum of money.

As they search for the spiders, Kurapika and Leorio cross paths with some of the other Hunter Exam participants, including Hisoka and Illumi. They learn that Illumi is not competing in the exam, but is rather there to assist Hisoka. This revelation raises even more questions about Hisoka's true motives and his connection to other powerful Nen users.

Back in the city, Gon and Killua are struggling to find the top-tier Nen user. They ask around and eventually find a group of men who claim to know him. However, the men turn out to be impostors who are using Nen to disguise their true appearances.

Gon and Killua use their newly acquired And skills to sense the impostors' auras and quickly realize that they are not who they claim to be. They manage to escape unharmed, but their encounter with the impostors raises even more questions about the true nature of Nen and its users.

Overall, this episode is full of action and intrigue as the characters continue to uncover more about Nen and the Hunter Exam.
