Ep 20. Baffling x Turn Of x Events!

Killua is hiding and watching his opponent, Imori, as he prepares to fight. Imori uses his nen ability to create an illusion that makes it look like he's standing farther away from Killua than he is. Killua realizes this and is able to dodge Imori's attack. He then uses his own nen ability to electrocute Imori, knocking him unconscious.

Meanwhile, Gon is facing off against his opponent, Sedokan, in a game of arm wrestling. Thinking he has the upper hand, Sedokan tries to use his nen ability to increase his strength, but Gon is still able to win. Sedokan becomes angry and attacks Gon, but is easily defeated.

Next, Leorio is up against Majitani, who has already defeated several other contestants. Majitani tries to use his nen ability to poison Leorio, but Leorio is able to resist it and defeat Majitani.

Finally, Kurapika is facing off against his opponent, Johness the Dissector. Johness is a ruthless killer who enjoys cutting up his victims, but Kurapika is able to use his nen ability to immobilize Johness and defeat him.

As the first phase of the Hunter Exam comes to a close, the remaining contestants are told that they will be split up into three groups and sent on a treasure hunt. Whoever finds the treasure first will pass the Hunter Exam and become a Hunter.

The contestants are divided into the three groups, with Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika all ending up in the same group. As they begin their hunt, they are surprised to find that their first clue is written in an ancient language that none of them can decipher.

Despite this setback, the group continues on and eventually comes across a large tower. They make their way to the top, where they find a large room filled with treasure. However, they are soon ambushed by another group of contestants.

The battle is intense, but Gon and his friends are able to come out on top. They collect the treasure and become Hunters. As they celebrate their victory, they are interrupted by a mysterious figure who congratulates them and tells them that they are now qualified to take on the most dangerous jobs in the world.

With the first phase of the Hunter Exam behind them, Gon and his friends are eager to see what challenges lie ahead.
