After being summoned to another world as his gaming character Diablo, Takuma Sakamoto finds himself becoming the master of two girls, Rem and Shera. In episode 2, "The Strongest Newcomer", we see Takuma training with Rem in hand-to-hand combat. He soon realizes that her ability to use magic is far superior to his own, but she counsels him not to worry - he is still the strongest person in the city.
Meanwhile, Shera has disappeared, and they eventually find her in a tavern, trying to recruit adventurers to help her find a demon that she has heard about. When Takuma tells her that it is too dangerous, she protests that she is already risking her life every day by being his slave, and that she wants to be useful to him. Takuma tells her that he doesn't want her to be a slave, and that he will find a way to break the slave contract between them.
Later, Takuma is approached by an elf named Sylvie, who asks him to help her collect an object that her father left behind - a mirror that belonged to an ancient demon lord. Takuma initially refuses, but Rem persuades him to accept the job. They set off on their quest, but soon realize that they are being followed by a group of adventurers.
As they make their way through the forest, they encounter a rank F adventurer named Klem, who is looking for work. Rem is initially dismissive of her, but Takuma is impressed by her sincerity and decides to give her a chance. They eventually find the mirror in a ruin, but they are ambushed by the adventurers who were following them. Klem surprises everyone by unleashing a powerful attack that takes out several of the attackers.
After defeating the adventurers and retrieving the mirror, Takuma and his companions return to the city. Klem asks to be Takuma's disciple, and he agrees. Meanwhile, Shera reveals that she has managed to break the slave contract using a spell that she learned from the adventurers. Rem is shocked and impressed by Shera's skill, and Takuma is grateful for her loyalty and determination.
Overall, episode 2 of "How Not to Summon a Demon Lord" is a fun and action-packed adventure that introduces new characters and expands on the relationships between the main characters. It also hints at deeper mysteries and conflicts in the world of the show, leaving viewers eager for more.
