Ep 18. Old King Clancy

Ted and Barney decide to go out to the bar to find Ted's "perfect match." While attempting to hit on a woman, Ted runs into Trudy, a former girlfriend who he never fully got over. Trudy reveals that she is no longer with her long-time partner and is now interested in rekindling things with Ted. However, Ted is hesitant to jump back into a relationship with her due to their history.

Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily are trying to come up with a new idea for their couple's game night. After struggling to think of a new game, they decide to play an old game that Marshall's family often played: Old King Clancy. The game is originally a Canadian tradition that Marshall's family altered into a drinking game.
