He starts by stealing her lunch and hiding it, but Sapphire is not easily deterred and she brings in extra food the next day. Henry also tries to get her in trouble by tricking her into breaking school rules, but this plan backfires and he ends up getting himself in trouble instead.
As the days go by, Henry starts to notice that Sapphire is not like the other girls in his class. She loves football and is not afraid to stand up for herself. Henry is intrigued by Sapphire's tomboyish ways and begins to see her in a new light. He starts to appreciate her as a person and even begins to enjoy her company.
Despite his best efforts, Henry cannot get Sapphire to leave and he realizes that he doesn't want her to. He decides to make peace with her and apologizes for his earlier behavior. Sapphire forgives him and the two become friends.
The episode ends with Henry and Sapphire playing football together and Henry realizing that it doesn't matter if Sapphire is a girl or not, she is still a great friend and a lot of fun to be around.
Overall, Horrid Henry season 3 episode 39 is a heartwarming tale about acceptance and the importance of not judging others based on appearances. It teaches viewers that it's okay to be different and that you can find friendship in the most unexpected places.
