Ep 27. Bogus Babysitter

Horrid Henry season 3, episode 27, titled "Bogus Babysitter," follows the antics of the mischievous boy as he attempts to trick his parents into letting him stay home alone while they go out for the evening. Henry's plan is to hire a bogus babysitter, someone who will let him do whatever he wants while his parents are away. Enter Moody Margaret, Henry's arch-nemesis and the perfect candidate for the job.

At first, things seem to go according to plan. Henry's parents leave for their night out, and Moody Margaret settles in for her evening of babysitting. But Henry soon realizes that Margaret's idea of babysitting is anything but typical. She encourages him to break all the rules, eat too much junk food, and stay up way past his bedtime.

As the night progresses, Henry begins to see that Margaret's intentions might not be so innocent. She starts to sabotage his attempts at being a "cool kid," and even threatens to tell his parents about their misbehavior when they return. It becomes a battle of wills between the two as they try to outsmart each other.

Meanwhile, Perfect Peter, Henry's goody two-shoes brother, is off on his own adventure. He's determined to earn his blue belt in karate and enlists the help of his best friend, Brainy Brian, to do so. However, Brian's techniques are a bit unorthodox, and Peter begins to question whether or not he wants to go down this path.

As the night wears on, Henry's parents return home to chaos. They discover that their once tidy home is now a disaster zone, with food and toys strewn about. But they're not angry - they're happy to see that their children had a good time. However, when Margaret reveals her true intentions, they quickly see through her act and send her packing.

In the end, all is well. Henry's parents see that he's not quite ready to be left home alone, and Peter decides to stick with traditional karate teachings. The episode ends with Henry and his family enjoying a peaceful, quiet evening at home - for now, at least.
