Horrid Henry is a British animated television series that follows the adventures of a mischievous boy named Henry. In season 2, episode 9 titled "Horrid Henry and the Name Game," Henry is on a mission to find the perfect name for his new remote-controlled car.
The episode begins with Henry showing off his new remote-controlled car to his friends. However, he quickly realizes that the car's default name, "Speedy," is not unique enough for his liking. He decides to come up with a new name for his beloved car and enlists the help of his family and friends.
Henry's first stop is at his little brother Peter's room. Peter suggests the name "Peter Power," which Henry quickly rejects. Henry then heads to his neighbor Moody Margaret's house for some inspiration. Margaret suggests the name "Super Spy Car," but Henry thinks it's too long and unrealistic.
Henry then decides to ask his parents for ideas. His dad suggests the name "Thunderbolt," which Henry likes, but his mom thinks it's too aggressive. She suggests the name "Buddy" instead, which Henry thinks is too basic.
Determined to find the perfect name, Henry turns to his schoolmates for help. He asks his best friend, Ralph, who suggests the name "The Beast," but Henry thinks it's too scary. He then asks his arch-nemesis, Perfect Peter, who suggests the name "Fluffy," but Henry thinks it's too cute.
As Henry continues his search for the perfect name, he comes up with some wacky ideas of his own, including "Ziggy Stardust," "Captain Jaws," and "Gizmo." His friends and family find these names amusing but not quite right for the car.
Despite his best efforts, Henry is unable to come up with the perfect name for his car. One day, while playing with his car, he inadvertently takes it on a wild ride through the neighborhood, causing chaos and destruction. Horrified by the damage he caused, Henry declares that his car will no longer have a name as it's just a car.
In the end, Henry learns that it's not the name that makes something special, but the memories and experiences associated with it. He decides to enjoy his car for what it is and not worry about what to call it.
