Horrid Henry Pet-Sitting Service is the eighteenth episode of the second season of Horrid Henry. Henry has set up a Pet-Sitting service to earn some money, but problems arise when he realizes that he's in over his head. Henry arrives at the home of his first customer, a hamster named Harry, and starts feeding him. However, things take a turn for the worse when Harry runs off and disappears into the house. Henry frantically searches for the rodent, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Perfect Peter is pet-sitting for Fluffy, his friend's cat. Peter takes his job very seriously and follows a strict regimen to ensure that Fluffy is taken care of properly. He keeps a detailed log of Fluffy's activities, including his meals, bathroom breaks, and playtime. Henry, on the other hand, takes a more relaxed approach to pet-sitting, and this leads to chaos. When he goes to look after Fang, a fierce-looking dog, he lets her out of her cage and she goes wild.
At school, Henry is desperate for some advice on how to control Fang. His classmate, Moody Margaret, tells him that he needs to be tough with her if he wants her to obey his commands. Henry takes her advice, and when he goes back to Fang's house, he tries to assert his authority with her. However, his efforts backfire when Fang ends up chasing him around the yard.
Back at home, Henry is feeling discouraged about his pet-sitting business. He confides in his mom about his problems and she suggests that he asks Peter for help. Henry is hesitant to do so, as he doesn't want to admit that he's failed, but eventually he decides to swallow his pride and ask for Peter's assistance.
Peter agrees to help Henry, and together they come up with a plan to get Fang under control. They decide to take Fang out for a walk, but Henry insists on doing it his way. He puts Fang on a leash, but she escapes and runs off into the woods. Henry and Peter chase after her, with Henry feeling defeated once again.
However, they eventually find Fang and bring her back home. Henry realizes that he needs to be more responsible when it comes to pet-sitting, and he starts taking his job more seriously. He learns from his mistakes and resolves to do a better job in the future.
The episode concludes with Henry's mom giving him a check for his pet-sitting services. Henry is thrilled to have earned some money, and he decides to invest it in a new business venture. He sets up a lemonade stand and becomes the most successful entrepreneur in town.
