Ep 18. Horrid Henry's School Trip

Horrid Henry's School Trip is the eighteenth episode of season one of the British animated television series, Horrid Henry. The show is based on a series of children's books written by Francesca Simon. The episode begins with Henry's class at school where they are excitedly planning for their upcoming school trip to a castle. Henry's teacher, Miss Battle-Axe, is tasked with organizing the trip and is determined to keep the class under control.

On the day of the trip, the class is bussed to the castle, and Miss Battle-Axe sternly reminds them to stay together and keep quiet. Once arrived, Henry and his friends, Moody Margaret and Perfect Peter, waste no time in breaking away from the group to explore the castle on their own. As they wander through the castle, they stumble upon a medieval suit of armor and naturally, Henry declares himself king.

The three friends continue to explore the castle, eventually finding themselves in the dining room, where they come across a plate of giant cookies. Henry is quick to steal a cookie, but when he does, a trap is triggered, causing the trio to fall through a trapdoor and into an underground tunnel.

They eventually emerge from the tunnel and find themselves in a hidden part of the castle, where they discover a secret chamber filled with ancient relics and treasure. Henry, ever the mischievous one, decides to take a small gold statue as a souvenir.

As they make their way back to the rest of the class, Henry realizes that he has lost his souvenir. He desperately searches for it but cannot find it, and ultimately must join the rest of the class without it. When they return to school, Miss Battle-Axe questions the class about whether anything was taken from the castle, and Henry is forced to keep his souvenir a secret.

When he gets home from school, Henry discovers that his stolen statue is actually cursed! It is causing chaos in his house, and his brother, Peter, is blaming Henry for all of the mess. Soon, Peter demands that Henry return the statue to the castle, but Henry refuses, worried about the consequences of returning it.

Finally, a fed-up Peter decides to take the statue himself and return it to the castle. In a dramatic turn of events, he is caught by the castle guards and taken to the dungeon. Henry and Margaret eventually manage to save Peter and return the statue to where it belongs, finally putting an end to the chaos it had caused.

In the end, Henry learns his lesson about stealing and keeping secrets, and the episode concludes with a lesson about the importance of honesty. Overall, Horrid Henry's School Trip is a fun-filled episode with plenty of adventure, mischief, and valuable morals for its young audience.
