In the ninth episode of season one of Hollywood Treasure, titled "In Full Effects," we see Joe Maddalena, owner of Profiles in History, on a quest for some of the most iconic movie memorabilia in history. This time, the focus is on special effects and props used in some of the most beloved movies of all time.

The episode starts with Joe on his way to meet with Stephen Lane, a collector and special effects guru who has worked on some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters. Lane is the founder of Global Effects Inc., a company that designs and creates practical effects for film and television. Joe hopes to find some unique pieces to add to his collection, but he quickly learns that Lane is just as much of a collector as he is.

After a tour of Lane's impressive collection, which includes everything from props from Star Wars to Terminator, Joe sets his sights on one particular piece: the iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. Lane has an original head-style prototype from the film that he acquired from the Sony archives, and Joe is determined to make it his own. Negotiations ensue, but will Joe be able to strike a deal for the legendary monster's head?

Meanwhile, Joe's team is on a mission to track down another piece of movie magic: the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future. They have their sights set on an auction where the DeLorean is up for bid, but the competition is fierce. Joe must act fast to make sure he doesn't miss out on this must-have Hollywood treasure.

Back at Global Effects, Joe shifts his focus to the iconic piece of equipment that made the Alien franchise so unique: the power loader. This piece of machinery was worn by Ripley in Aliens, and Joe has found a version of it that was used in the film. The only catch is that it's in pieces and needs to be restored. The team quickly gets to work, and Joe is presented with the restored power loader at the end of the episode.

Finally, Joe gets a call from a collector who has a piece from one of the most popular science fiction franchises of all time: Star Trek. The piece in question is an original Klingon disruptor from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The disruptor was custom-made by prop designer Andrew Probert, and it's a truly unique piece of movie history. Joe heads to the collector's home to check it out, but will he be able to make a deal for this rare piece of Star Trek memorabilia?

Throughout the episode, we see Joe's passion for Hollywood memorabilia on full display. Whether it's negotiating for a one-of-a-kind piece of movie history or restoring a classic prop to its former glory, Joe and his team are dedicated to preserving the magic of Hollywood for future generations to enjoy. "In Full Effects" is a thrilling episode that showcases the best of Hollywood Treasure and the incredible world of movie memorabilia collecting.
