Team Misfit Toys struggles to keep their mashed potatoes tree standing, while Team Santa's Helpers realizes their tree is not coming together as they had hoped. Team Sugar Plum Fairies faces their own challenges when their skate pond starts to leak.

Meanwhile, judges Shinmin Li and Jason Smith take a closer look at each team's progress, offering words of encouragement and constructive criticism. They comment on the teams' use of color, symmetry, and overall coherence.

Eventually, the clock runs out and the teams present their finished displays to the judges. Team Sugar Plum Fairies wows with their whimsical ice rink, complete with a flawless replica of Charlie Brown's sad little tree. Team Santa's Helpers impress with their intricate tree-trimming scene, featuring Snoopy and Woodstock in various poses. Team Misfit Toys surprises the judges with their unconventional table setting, complete with a creative mashed potato tree.
