Ep 8. Terry / Adelle

Terry and Adelle are the focus of season 6, episode 8 of Hoarders. Terry is an artist with a passion for collecting books, art supplies, and clothing. The team attempts to help Adelle clear her home, but she becomes extremely anxious at the thought of letting anything go. She is reluctant to allow anyone to touch her belongings, and cries uncontrollably at the mere suggestion of getting rid of something. It becomes clear that Adelle's hoarding is deeply rooted in her need to hold onto memories of her past. Despite the challenges, the hoarding experts are able to make some progress by getting Adelle to agree to clear out one room at a time. By the end of the episode, there is hope that Adelle may be able to turn her life around and provide a safer, more stable environment for her family.
