Meanwhile, Yoshitaka Waya is also competing in the North Tournament. He wins his first match easily, but his next opponent turns out to be a formidable opponent. Waya's friends gather to watch the match, including Hikaru and a suspicious-looking man named Ogata.
As the tournament progresses, Waya's match takes a surprising turn and Hikaru finds himself facing a difficult decision. He must choose between playing to win or forfeiting to save his friend from a dangerous opponent. With the help of his ghostly mentor, Fujiwara-no-Sai, Hikaru ultimately decides to play and manages to pull off an unexpected move.
The episode concludes with Akira and Hikaru's final match of the tournament. Will Akira be able to overcome his nerves and defeat his rival? Or will Hikaru continue to stay one step ahead? Fans of the series will have to tune in to find out.
