David and Jonathan come across a call-in radio station where a young girl named Rosie is pleading for help. She claims that her father has been keeping her locked up in their apartment for weeks and she hasn't seen or spoken to anyone else during that time. The radio hosts believe it to be a prank call but David and Jonathan know better and set out to find Rosie and help her.
When they arrive, they find that Rosie's father Jack is indeed keeping her locked up, but he has a reason for it. Jack was once a successful businessman but after his wife died, he turned to alcohol and lost everything, including custody of his daughter. Now, after getting sober and turning his life around, Jack is determined to not make any more mistakes and keep his daughter safe at all costs.
David and Jonathan try to reason with Jack and make him understand that Rosie needs to have a life outside of their apartment. They introduce Jack and Rosie to a group of people who they believe will be a good influence on Rosie including a teacher, a pastor, and a young girl named Jenny who becomes Rosie's new best friend.
As Rosie starts to adjust to her new life, David and Jonathan discover that there is another reason Jack has been keeping Rosie locked up. He has been receiving threatening letters telling him to keep her hidden and to not let anyone find out about her. David and Jonathan take on the task of finding out who is behind the letters and why they want Rosie hidden.
Their investigation leads them to a man named Frank who Jack used to work for. Frank has been embezzling money and believes that Rosie is the key to his getting caught. He threatens to harm Rosie unless Jack helps him cover up his crimes.
David and Jonathan devise a plan to catch Frank and clear Jack's name. With the help of Rosie and her new friends, they are able to set a trap for Frank and turn him over to the police.
In the end, Jack realizes that he can't keep Rosie locked up forever and that she deserves to have a life outside of their apartment. With the support of his new friends, he starts to put his life and his business back together and Rosie is finally able to have the childhood she deserves. David and Jonathan continue on their journey, helping those in need and spreading love and positivity wherever they go.
