Ep 12. The Blitz

We also see MacLeod's own struggles with his demon, which was awakened during his time in battle. These flashbacks add an emotional depth to the episode and give insight into MacLeod's character.

Back in the present time, MacLeod and Fitzcairn must navigate the foggy streets of London and avoid German patrols while trying to stop St. Cloud. Their mission takes them to a secret underground laboratory, where they confront St. Cloud and engage in a violent showdown.

Ultimately, MacLeod and Fitzcairn are able to save the day and stop the missile launch. They rescue Maureen, but not before suffering some losses along the way. The episode ends with MacLeod reflecting on the casualties of war and the cost of fighting for what is right.

"The Blitz" is a thrilling episode of Highlander that combines history, action, and drama. The stakes are high, not just for the characters, but for the world at large. It's a fitting tribute to the brave soldiers who fought during World War II and a reminder of the sacrifices that were made.
