High Drama: Against All Oz is an unscripted web-based reality show that followed the 2008 production of Wizard of Oz by Cape Cod's Barnstable High School. The drama club's crew was led by fellow students Jason Pacella, Evan Haussmann, Steve Bearse, Dave Chapman, Ralph Bousquet, and, of course, John Sullivan, the director and drama club head. The enormous preparation work accomplished by this 350-member team was incredible. In total, they created 400 costumes, used 79 gallons of paint, gathered and cared for a horse, a dozen chicks, and five adult chickens, and spent countless hours in rehearsal. This was only the first in several planned seasons that would showcase Wizard of Oz productions at specially selected schools.
