Haruo, Akira, and Koharu are once again back in the arcade, but this time, things are a little different. Haruo still feels the sting of his recent loss to Akira, but he is determined to improve his skills and win next time. As the trio plays their favorite games, Koharu notices that Akira seems distracted and asks her what's wrong. Akira only responds with a sad smile and tells Koharu that she's fine.
Meanwhile, Haruo is deep in thought, thinking about the arcade and how it's served as a constant in his life. He thinks about all the hours he's spent playing games and how much he's grown as a player. But his melancholy is quickly replaced with a sense of determination as he realizes that he still has a lot to learn.
As they leave the arcade, they encounter Hidaka, who is still nursing her crush on Haruo. She tries to get his attention, but he's too distracted by his thoughts to notice her. Later that night, he has a dream about Akira and how they used to play games together when they were kids. He wakes up feeling nostalgic and unsure of what to do next.
The next day, Haruo decides to confront Akira about her recent behavior. He asks her if she's feeling down about something, but she brushes him off and tells him that he's imagining things. Haruo is persistent, however, and continues to push until Akira finally reveals that she's struggling with her own feelings. She's confused about her relationship with Haruo and doesn't know what she wants anymore.
Haruo is shocked by this revelation and doesn't know how to respond. But before he can say anything, Akira runs off, leaving him standing alone. He spends the rest of the day lost in thought, trying to figure out what to do about his feelings for Akira.
That night, he gets a call from Koharu, who has some big news. She tells him that her family is moving away and she won't be able to come to the arcade anymore. Haruo is devastated by this news, realizing that Koharu has been an important person in his life. He invites her over to his house the next day to say goodbye properly.
The following day, Koharu comes over and they spend the day playing games together. She tells him about her plans for the future and how excited she is to start a new chapter in her life. Haruo is happy for her but can't help feeling sad about losing his friend. As they're about to part ways, Koharu surprises Haruo by giving him a kiss on the cheek and telling him that she'll always be his friend.
After she leaves, Haruo is once again lost in thought. But this time, his thoughts are about how much his relationships with Akira and Koharu have taught him about life and growing up. He realizes that he's not just a video game player anymore but a young man with complicated feelings.
The episode ends with Haruo standing alone in the arcade, still uncertain about his future with Akira but feeling grateful for the experiences he's had. As he plays a game, he thinks about all the people he's met and the memories he's made. And even though he's unsure of what's to come, he knows that the arcade will always be there for him.
