Hi Bye, Mama! is a South Korean television series that aired on Total Variety Network in 2020. The show stars Kim Tae-hee, Lee Kyoo-hyung, and Ko Bo-gyeol, portraying the story of a mother who dies in a tragic accident and comes back as a ghost to spend more time with her family.

The story of Hi Bye, Mama! revolves around Cha Yu-ri (Kim Tae-hee), who dies in a car accident soon after giving birth to her daughter. Five years after her death, she is given the chance to return to her family for 49 days as a ghost, thanks to a reincarnation project run by the afterlife.

Yu-ri's husband, Jo Kang-hwa (Lee Kyoo-hyung), has remarried and taken on the role of a single father with the help of his wife, Oh Min-jung (Go Bo-gyeol), who is also Yu-ri's best friend. Yu-ri's presence as a ghost creates confusion and awkwardness for her family, but she is determined to make the most of her limited time and find a way to bring peace and happiness to her loved ones.

The show explores themes of loss, grief, love, and family, and does an excellent job of balancing the emotional and comedic moments. Hi Bye, Mama! takes a unique perspective on the afterlife and asks interesting questions about what it means to be alive and how we can find closure after death.

Kim Tae-hee gives an exceptional performance as Cha Yu-ri, bringing charisma, humor, and sensitivity to the character. Lee Kyoo-hyung does an equally impressive job as Jo Kang-hwa, and both actors have great chemistry together. Go Bo-gyeol delivers a convincing portrayal of Oh Min-jung, who struggles to navigate her newfound family dynamics, and her character adds a lot of depth to the story.

The supporting cast members also stand out, with notable performances from Seo Woo-jin as Yu-ri and Kang-hwa's daughter, Cho Seo-woo as Yu-ri's father, and Kim Mi-kyung as Bae Soo-ja, a shaman who helps Yu-ri on her journey.

The production design of Hi Bye, Mama! is another highlight of the show, with stunning visuals and creative use of CGI to depict Yu-ri's ghostly adventures. The soundtrack also adds to the show's emotional depth, with haunting melodies and touching ballads.

Overall, Hi Bye, Mama! is a heartwarming and memorable drama that will make you laugh, cry, and appreciate the power of love and family. The show's talented cast, sharp writing, and excellent production values make it a must-watch for fans of K-dramas and anyone who enjoys a good story about life, death, and everything in between.
