Ep 16. The Medicine Badge

Duggee and the Squirrels are back for another adventure in the hit children's show Hey Duggee. In season 2 episode 16 titled "The Medicine Badge," the Squirrels have come down with a case of the sniffles and it's up to Duggee to help them feel better.

The episode begins with the Squirrels feeling under the weather. Tag, Norrie, Betty, and Roly all have runny noses and sore throats, and they're not feeling like their usual energetic selves. Duggee knows just what to do, though - it's time to earn the Medicine Badge!

The Medicine Badge is all about learning how to take care of yourself and others when you're not feeling well. To earn the badge, the Squirrels will have to show Duggee that they can be responsible, caring, and helpful when someone is sick.

Duggee starts off by teaching the Squirrels the proper way to wash their hands. They sing the "Wash Your Hands" song and make sure to scrub their hands thoroughly. Duggee also shows them how to cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze so they don't spread germs.

Next, Duggee sets up a little clinic in the clubhouse. He shows the Squirrels how to take care of minor injuries, like cuts and scrapes, and how to use a thermometer to take their temperature. Betty is a little scared of the thermometer at first, but Duggee helps her feel better by showing her how it works.

Once the Squirrels have learned the basics of first aid, they take turns being the patient and the doctor. Tag is the first patient, and Norrie and Roly take turns playing the doctor. They check Tag's temperature, give him some pretend medicine (a few drops of water), and even put a bandage on his arm.

After the clinic, Duggee takes the Squirrels outside to get some fresh air. He shows them how to do some gentle exercises to help them feel better, like stretching and deep breathing. They also play a game of "Simon Says" where Duggee calls out different movements for them to do, like jumping, skipping, and clapping.

As the day goes on, the Squirrels start to feel better and better. They've learned a lot about taking care of themselves and each other, and they're excited to earn their Medicine Badge. To finish off the day, Duggee surprises them with a special treat - homemade chicken soup! The Squirrels love the soup and appreciate Duggee's care and attention.
