Hey Arnold! Season 1 Episode 10 includes two separate storylines - Door 16 and Arnold as Cupid.
The first episode, Door 16, revolves around the boarding house that Arnold and his grandparents reside in. Their neighbor, Mr. Hyunh, has always been a mysterious figure, with little known about his past. When he receives a package containing a key to Door 16, a door in the boarding house that has been locked for years, he becomes obsessed with opening it.
Arnold and his group of friends, including the curious Helga and the skeptical Gerald, assist Mr. Hyunh in his search for Door 16. They scour the boarding house, looking for any clues to the location of the mysterious door. Along the way, the group learns more about Mr. Hyunh's past, including the heartbreaking reason why he is determined to find Door 16.
The second episode in this installment is Arnold as Cupid. Arnold overhears his classmates complaining about their lack of Valentine's Day dates and decides to take matters into his own hands. With the help of Grandpa Phil, Arnold becomes a cupid, matching students up around the school.
Arnold's matchmaking skills quickly go awry, however, as his matches seem to be more of a disaster than a success. As the day progresses, Arnold starts to realize that love is not something that can be forced. He learns that sometimes the best relationships come naturally, rather than by the force of a cupid's arrow.
Overall, Hey Arnold! Season 1 Episode 10 offers two lighthearted storylines that are perfect for all audiences. Through Door 16, viewers get a glimpse into Mr. Hyunh's past, and Arnold and his friends learn the value of solving a mystery together. In Arnold as Cupid, Arnold discovers the true nature of love and the importance of not meddling in other people's lives.
