Ep 6. All Over the Map / Lights Go Down in City Town
- June 10, 2020
In Hero Elementary season 1 episode 6, titled "All Over the Map / Lights Go Down in City Town," our group of young heroes is ready to learn and explore once again. The episode is split into two short stories that offer unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow in their powers.
In the first story, "All Over the Map," the team is tasked to help a lost cat find its way back home. However, rather than knowing where it lives, the feline only offers a visual map as a clue. Led by AJ Gadgets, the team uses their different powers to follow the map's symbols and find the cat's house. They climb, fly, and swim through various obstacles and animal habitats, including a field of tall grass, a river, and a bush full of thorns. Along the way, they face multiple problems and opportunities to help other animals in need, including a cow that needs its bell and a baby bird that falls out of its nest.
The second story, "Lights Go Down in City Town," takes the team to the city to help a group of people in the dark. While trying to catch a firefly, a kid falls and accidentally cuts the electrical wires that power a part of the town. Without lights, people cannot see where they're going or navigate properly. The Hero Elementary kids use a variety of strategies and teamwork to help fix the problem. They split up into groups and use their gadgets to find and fix the cut wire, while other members guide people safely through the dark. However, things get more complicated after they receive rescue calls from two different people in different parts of the city. The animated group of kids has to use their individual abilities, such as shape-shifting and stretching, to reach both of the people and help them out without mistakes.
Throughout both stories, the team encounters various challenges and opportunities to learn about themselves and their unique powers. They also have to work together to stay safe and complete the missions. The show is both entertaining and educational, aimed at teaching preschool children about science and problem-solving while presenting exciting superhero adventures. With colorful and friendly-looking animation, the Hero Elementary team invites young viewers to discover the world and their potential.
