Lucy and Andy Griffith is the eighth episode of the sixth season of the classic sitcom Here's Lucy which aired on November 17, 1973. The show stars the famous comedian Lucille Ball and it follows Lucy Carter (played by Lucille Ball), a single mother of two, as she navigates her way through life with her family and her job at Carter's Unique Employment Agency.

Lucy introduces herself to Andy by pretending that she is a movie star named Lucinda Bond. Andy is immediately smitten with her and asks her out on a date. Lucy accepts and enjoys a fancy dinner with Andy. However, things quickly go downhill when Andy realizes who Lucy really is and becomes upset that she lied to him. Lucy apologizes, and Andy eventually forgives her.
Throughout the episode, there are several comedic moments as Lucy tries to impress Andy with her camping knowledge, which always ends in disaster. She also becomes jealous when Andy pays more attention to her daughter Kim than to her. Additionally, Lucy's brother-in-law Harry tries to push his own agenda with Andy, attempting to sell him investment opportunities.
