Ep 15. Lucy and Ma Parker

Lucy and Ma Parker is the fifteenth episode of the third season of Here's Lucy. The episode originally aired on December 27, 1971, and was directed by Coby Ruskin.

The episode revolves around Lucille "Lucy" Carter, a widow and mother of two teenage children, Kim and Craig. Lucy is a secretary at the business Print mania owned by her brother-in-law, Harry. Her life is often entangled in humorous situations that she creates herself as she tries to balance her personal and professional life.

In this episode, Lucy and her friend Mary Jane are at the airport waiting to pick up Lucy's mother, Mrs. McGillicuddy, who is arriving from New York. As they wait, Lucy spots an old lady, Ma Parker, and her gang of criminals running towards them. Lucy quickly hides behind a newspaper, but the criminals take her aback. When Ma Parker and her gang pass, Lucy and Mary Jane see actor Richard Carlson, who was also at the airport, being kidnapped by them.

Once Ma Parker and her gang have left, Lucy tries to explain their criminal activities, but no one believes her. She decides to pursue the gang and save Richard Carlson. Lucy and Mary Jane start investigating the gang's hideouts.

The two women end up in a mansion that belongs to Ma Parker. There, they discover that Richard Carlson is the only one being held captive by the gang. Lucy then devises a plan for his rescue and attempts to communicate with her mother and brother-in-law, giving them instructions on how to capture Ma Parker and her gang.

Meanwhile, Kim and Craig (Lucy's children) are trying to help their mother. Kim pretends to be a customer at Print mania, asking for Harry's help, while Craig disguises himself as a telephone company employee and calls Lucy's office pretending to fix the phone lines.

The episode continues with Lucy and her family and friends trying to rescue Richard Carlson and arrest Ma Parker and her gang. Amidst all the confusions and misunderstandings, Lucy and her family eventually succeed in capturing the gang members and freeing Richard Carlson.
