Here Comes The Grump was an animated television series that aired from 1969 to 1970. The show was produced by Egami and featured the voice acting talents of Jay North, Rip Taylor, Mel Blanc, Avery Schreiber, and Indira Stefanianna Christopherson. The series followed the adventures of a young boy named Terry, his magical flying dragon named Tootles, and their encounters with the Grump, a mischievous and grumpy wizard who sought to ruin everyone's day.

Each episode of Here Comes The Grump saw Terry and Tootles travelling through different lands, facing various challenges, and meeting new characters along the way. The Grump, who had a magical sceptre that granted him immense power, would often appear to cause havoc and disrupt the peace. Despite their initial clashes, Terry and Tootles always managed to outsmart the Grump and restore balance to the world.

Jay North, best known for his role in the TV series Dennis the Menace, voiced Terry, the show's protagonist. Terry was a brave and adventurous young boy who loved to explore new places and meet new people. Tootles, his flying dragon companion, was always by his side and provided him with indispensable help in times of need. Together, they made a formidable team that always managed to save the day.

Rip Taylor, a renowned comedian, lent his voice to the Grump, the show's main antagonist. The Grump was a mischievous and grumpy wizard who enjoyed causing chaos wherever he went. His sceptre allowed him to shape-shift, create illusions, and conjure up powerful spells. Nonetheless, despite his cunning and magical abilities, the Grump was no match for Terry and Tootles when they joined forces.

Mel Blanc, commonly referred to as the "Man of a Thousand Voices," provided various voices for the show's supporting characters. Avery Schreiber and Indira Stefanianna Christopherson also contributed their voice acting skills to the series, playing different characters from different lands.

The animation style of Here Comes The Grump was colorful and surreal, featuring imaginative creatures and landscapes that drew inspiration from various mythologies and folktales. The show's theme song, composed by Gene Moss, was catchy and upbeat, setting the tone for the adventures that Terry and Tootles would embark on in each episode.

Overall, Here Comes The Grump was a fun and entertaining animated series that captured the imagination of children and adults alike. It boasted a talented voice cast, imaginative storytelling, and colorful animation that brought a unique and whimsical world to life. Even decades after its original airing, the show remains a nostalgic favorite for many who grew up watching it.
