Ep 3. Hercules and the Secret Weapon

In episode 3 of Hercules: The Animated Series season 1, titled Hercules and the Secret Weapon, we see Hercules struggling with his studies at Prometheus Academy. Adonis ends up being revealed as an agent of Typhon - a deception that he falls for due to his inexperience.

Typhon, who has become aware of the hero's involvement in his downfall, decides to go after him. The fight between the two is epic as Typhon proves to be a formidable foe. Hercules realizes that the fight will be futile without a way to stop the monster. His friends are eventually hit by lightning while fighting Typhon. With his determination, he conducts the needed research, which reveals that Typhon's only weakness is located beneath his left armpit.

Hercules uses this knowledge to his advantage and manages to disable Typhon using a tree tied with a rope. Finally, he saves the city of Thebes from Typhon’s wrath. Hercules has not only saved his city, but also learned a valuable lesson about the importance of focus and responsibility.
