Ep 11. Monsters on the Town / Enormo Henry
- April 29, 2013
In "Monsters on the Town," Henry feels left out when his parents and siblings head out for a night of monster-fun without him. He decides to explore their secret alley, where he finds his friends Gertie and Denzel, who are also feeling excluded from the monster festivities.
The trio enjoys playing dress-up and pretending to be grown-up monsters, but their fun comes to a screeching halt when they accidentally wander into a scary neighborhood. It's up to Henry's bravery and quick thinking to keep his friends safe and lead them back to safety.
The second half of the episode, "Enormo Henry," involves Henry wishing he was taller so he could ride the new "Enormo-Rollercoaster" at the monster amusement park. When his wish is granted and he becomes a giant, he realizes that being too big has its downsides. He struggles to navigate the park and is unable to fit in with his friends. In the end, he learns to appreciate his size and that being himself is always the best option.
Overall, this episode teaches important lessons about inclusion and self-acceptance, while also providing plenty of laughs and exciting adventures for young viewers to enjoy.
