Henry Danger season 2 episode 12, titled "Text, Lies & Video," follows teenager Henry Hart who leads a double life as Kid Danger, sidekick to superhero Captain Man. The episode begins with Henry and his best friend Charlotte working on a school project at his house. Meanwhile, Jasper, another friend of Henry's, sends them a video message of himself bragging about being at a party. Shortly after, he asks Henry to pick him up.
As Henry and Charlotte are driving to pick up Jasper, they receive a text message from him saying that he's been kidnapped. Shocked and scared, they decide to investigate by going to the last place Jasper was seen.
Once they arrive at the location, they find a note with a ransom demand for $10,000. Not knowing what to do, the pair decides to enlist the help of Captain Man and his assistant, Schwoz.
Captain Man and Schwoz come up with a plan to catch the kidnappers. The plan involves Charlotte pretending to be a wealthy teenage socialite willing to pay the ransom and Henry being the one to make the drop-off. Despite some initial hesitation, the plan seems to be working as Henry successfully drops off the money.
However, things take a turn for the worse when it's revealed that Jasper wasn't actually kidnapped. Instead, he staged the whole thing as a prank to get attention on social media. Furious at Jasper's behavior, Henry and Charlotte have a falling out with him.
Meanwhile, Captain Man and Schwoz discover that the kidnappers were actually trying to capture the real wealthy socialite, who was scheduled to attend the same party that Jasper was bragging about earlier.
In the end, Jasper apologizes for his actions and the group reconciles. Henry and Charlotte reflect on how technology and social media can be used for both good and bad and stress the importance of being responsible with their online presence.
Overall, "Text, Lies & Video" is a fun and exciting episode that touches on important themes such as social media and personal responsibility. With plenty of action and humor, it's a great addition to the Henry Danger series.
