In the third episode of Hellevator season 1, titled "House of Trapped Souls," a group of four friends must navigate their way through a haunted house in order to win $50,000. The group is made up of Nika, a thrill-seeker who enjoys horror movies, Dwayne, a self-proclaimed skeptic, Maria, a psychic medium, and Ranzell, a former marine who is used to facing fear head-on.
As they enter the house, they are immediately met with a creepy atmosphere, complete with flickering lights and eerie music. The host of the show, Scream Queen Jen, explains that they must make their way through three levels of the house, with each level becoming increasingly more terrifying. Along the way, they will encounter challenges that test their mental and physical strength, as well as their ability to work as a team.
Level one begins with the group being divided into pairs. Nika and Dwayne must crawl through a dark tunnel, while Maria and Ranzell must navigate a hallway filled with scarecrows that come to life. Both pairs must collect keys in order to unlock the door to the next level. The tension is high as the friends try to move quickly while also being careful not to trigger any of the scares.
Level two is set in the house's basement, where the friends must confront their fears in order to win the game. Nika is forced to hold a tarantula, Dwayne must navigate a room filled with clowns, and Maria must perform a seance in order to communicate with the spirits that inhabit the house. Meanwhile, Ranzell faces his fear of drowning as he attempts to retrieve a key from a pool of water.
As the group progresses to the final level, they are confronted with the biggest challenge yet. The house is now completely dark, and the friends must navigate through a maze in order to find the exit. But it's not just any maze - it's filled with obstacles such as hidden trap doors and walls that shift. They must also avoid being caught by the ghosts that haunt the house. Tensions run high as the group tries to stick together and make it out alive.
Overall, "House of Trapped Souls" is a thrilling episode of Hellevator that is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The challenges are creative and scary, and the group of friends is easy to root for as they face their fears. This episode is a great example of the show's ability to combine horror with reality TV, and it is sure to leave audiences wanting more.
