Ep 5. The Best Laid Plans

Amy is faced with a challenging task when she sees a horse chained up in the junkyard. When she inquires about the horse, she is informed that the owner has left him there to die. Unwilling to let this happen, Amy decides to take matters into her own hands and seeks the help of her family and friends to rescue the horse.

Meanwhile, Lou is excited about her new job offer, but soon realizes that it comes with its own set of challenges. She is tasked with organizing a fundraising event for the Hudson Heritage Foundation and has to work with a difficult committee member. Despite this, Lou perseveres and comes up with a plan that impresses everyone.

Ty, on the other hand, is dealing with his own problems. He is trying to build a relationship with Amy, but finds that her dedication to her work comes first. He decides to surprise her with a romantic evening, but things don't go as planned and they end up arguing instead.

As Amy and her team work to rescue the horse, they encounter several obstacles, including a stubborn junkyard owner and an irate animal control officer. However, Amy's determination and love for horses sees her through and they eventually succeed in getting the horse to safety.

In the end, Lou's event proves to be a success and she receives recognition for her efforts. Ty and Amy also work through their problems and come to a better understanding of each other.
