Ep 4. Sparks and Recreation

In the town of Haven, strange things are happening. People are developing bizarre abilities, known as "troubles," that range from causing earthquakes to turning objects to stone. Nathan Wuornos, a local police officer, is immune to these troubles, and works with Audrey Parker, an FBI agent with a mysterious past, to solve the town's mysteries and keep it safe.

In episode 4 of season 2, "Sparks and Recreation," the troubles hit close to home when Haven's annual Fourth of July celebrations are threatened by a dangerous trouble. As the town prepares for the holiday, a freak lightning storm strikes the Haven Herald, igniting a fire that quickly spreads through the building. Audrey and Nathan rush to the scene, but find that their efforts to put out the flames are thwarted by a mysterious force.

Meanwhile, Duke Crocker, the charming smuggler with his own connection to the troubles, returns to town. Duke quickly becomes the center of attention when he proposes a grand fireworks show to rival anything Haven has ever seen. Despite the ongoing crisis with the fire, Mayor Brody sees this as a chance to boost tourism and eagerly agrees to Duke's proposal.

As Audrey and Nathan investigate the source of the fire, they discover that the trouble responsible is a young woman named Carrie Benson. Carrie has the ability to generate sparks from her fingertips, and her uncontrollable powers have ignited the fire and put the entire town at risk. Despite Audrey's attempts to reason with her, Carrie is too scared and angry to control her abilities.

With time running out, Audrey and Nathan must find a way to stop Carrie before she causes any more destruction. Meanwhile, Duke's fireworks show is in jeopardy as he struggles to find the right materials to create a grand display. With the help of Haven's resident eccentric, Dwight Hendrickson, Duke is able to gather enough supplies to put on the show, but it may be too little, too late.

As the clock strikes midnight on the Fourth of July, Haven is on the brink of disaster. Can Audrey and Nathan stop Carrie before it's too late? Will Duke's fireworks show go off without a hitch? The fate of the town hangs in the balance in "Sparks and Recreation," a thrilling episode of the hit supernatural drama, Haven.
