The Harvey Street Kids are back for another fun-filled adventure in season 3 episode 4, titled "Now It's Con." In this episode, the gang is excited to attend their favorite convention, but things take a turn when they realize it's a fake convention put on by the Blockheads.
The episode starts with Dot, Lotta, and Audrey making their way to the convention center, all decked out in their favorite cosplay costumes. They're excited to see all the displays, attend the panels, and meet fellow fans of their favorite movies, comics, and TV shows. But as they get closer, they notice that something seems off.
The convention center looks run-down and abandoned, with only a handful of people milling about outside. When they try to present their tickets, they're told that the event has been cancelled. Disappointed, the girls start to leave, but they can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. That's when they run into the Blockheads, who are busy packing up all the fake displays and props.
Determined to get to the bottom of things, the Harvey Street Kids decide to sneak into the convention center and see what's really going on. They find a secret room full of equipment and costumes, and realize that the Blockheads have been using their fake convention as a way to scam people out of their money. They've been charging high ticket prices and selling fake merchandise, all while pretending to be legitimate event organizers.
The Harvey Street Kids are horrified by the Blockheads' deception, and they decide to take action. They hatch a plan to sneak into the Blockheads' lair and retrieve all the stolen money and merchandise. It's a dangerous mission, but with quick thinking and teamwork, they manage to outsmart the Blockheads and escape with the goods.
As they're making their way out of the convention center, the girls run into other disappointed fans who were also scammed by the Blockheads. They decide to give back all the money and merchandise they recovered, in an effort to make things right.
The episode ends with the Harvey Street Kids throwing their own impromptu convention, complete with homemade costumes and decorations. It may not be as elaborate as the fake convention, but they have just as much fun and share their love for their favorite fandoms with each other.
Overall, "Now It's Con" is a fun and exciting episode that showcases the Harvey Street Kids' bravery, teamwork, and dedication to doing the right thing. It's a great reminder that even when things don't go according to plan, it's important to stay positive, think outside the box, and work together to make the world a better place.
