In Hart of Dixie season 3 episode 2, entitled "Friends in Low Places," viewers are taken back to the small town of Bluebell where tensions are running high in the wake of a devastating hurricane. Throughout the episode, viewers are also introduced to a variety of new characters, including Brick Breeland's estranged wife, Nancy, who shows up unannounced and threatens to disrupt the doctor's already fragile personal life. Additionally, Zoe's best friend, Ruby Jeffries, makes a surprising return to town, leaving Zoe to evaluate their complicated history.
