Despite this, Fonzie remains by Richie's side and helps him come to the realization that his motorcycle was not worth risking his life over. In the end, Richie decides to sell his motorcycle and embrace a quieter life, while Fonzie is left contemplating the true meaning of his love for motorcycles.
