In season 3 episode 16 of Happy Days, titled Dance Contest, the residents of Milwaukee are gearing up for the annual dance competition at Arnold's Drive-In. The judges for the contest are the famous dance duo, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, who have come to town to help pick the winner.

Richie, Potsie, and Ralph, along with their girlfriends, are looking forward to participating in the contest. But they are up against some stiff competition from a rival group led by the town bully, Crusher. The group's dance routine is impressive, and they seem to have the support of the crowd.

Meanwhile, Fonzie is feeling left out of the competition. He's not much of a dancer, and he's not sure how to get involved. But when he sees his old flame, Pinky Tuscadero, at the contest, he knows he has to do something to impress her.

Fonzie decides to try his hand at dancing and enlists the help of Joanie to teach him some moves. Although he's not a natural dancer, he puts in the effort and surprises everyone with his newfound skills.

As the night wears on, the competition heats up. Richie, Potsie, and Ralph take the stage with their partners and dazzle the crowd with their dance routine. But Crusher's team is still the one to beat.

When it's time for Fonzie to take the stage, everyone is curious to see how he'll do. He and Joanie perform a romantic dance that wows the audience. Pinky is clearly impressed, and Fonzie feels like he's finally proved himself to her.

In the end, the judges announce the winners of the competition, and it's a surprise to everyone. Crusher's team doesn't win, and neither does Richie's group. Instead, the winning team is Fonzie and Joanie.

The episode ends with the gang celebrating the victory at Arnold's Drive-In. Fonzie is feeling good about himself, and Pinky tells him she's proud of him. The rest of the group is happy with the outcome, even though they didn't win, and everyone is looking forward to next year's competition.

Overall, the episode is a fun and lighthearted look at the world of dance competitions. It's a great showcase for some of the show's lesser-known characters, and it has some genuinely funny moments. If you're a fan of Happy Days or just enjoy a good dance-off, this episode is definitely worth checking out.
