In Happy Days season 2 episode 9, titled "Big Money," the Cunninghams and their friends are excited to win tickets to a charity fundraiser hosted by the wealthy Malph family. Richie and Potsie are especially thrilled because they hope to make some money by selling their homemade t-shirts at the event.
As they prepare for the big night, they discover that Fonzie has also won a ticket and will be attending the fundraiser as well. However, things take a turn when Richie and Potsie have a run-in with a group of tough-looking guys who threaten to beat them up if they don't give them all of their money.
Feeling scared and defeated, Richie and Potsie confide in Fonzie about their predicament. Fonzie, being the cool and collected guy that he is, comes up with a plan to outsmart the bullies and keep Richie and Potsie's money safe.
In the meantime, the ladies of the group have their own drama to deal with as they compete against each other for the title of "Queen of the Fundraiser." Marion and Joanie are set on winning the crown, but when they find out that a former beauty queen will be attending the event, they begin to feel discouraged.
However, they soon realize that they have plenty of charm and talent of their own and decide to put on a show-stopping performance that impresses everyone in attendance.
Throughout the episode, the themes of friendship, loyalty, and perseverance are explored as the characters deal with challenges and come out on top. "Big Money" is a fun and lighthearted episode that celebrates the power of teamwork and the importance of supporting one another, even in the face of adversity.
