Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown is a heartwarming animated movie produced by Warner Bros. based on the beloved comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. It was released in 2011 and was directed by Andy Beall and Frank Molieri. The movie is the 45th animated production in the Peanuts franchise and the first animated Peanuts special in five years.

The story revolves around Linus, who has always been attached to his security blanket. However, when his grandmother tells him that he needs to let go of his blanket, Linus gets upset and starts to worry. The rest of the gang tries to help him find a way to cope with the separation from his blanket, but it proves to be a challenge.

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and all the other Peanuts characters are featured in the movie, each playing a unique role in Linus's journey. There are also a few new characters introduced, including Linus's grandmother and her cat.

The animation in this movie is top-notch, and the character designs stay true to Schulz's original vision. The scenery is bright and colorful, and the movement is smooth and fluid. The animation is a mix of traditional 2D animation and 3D modeling to create an updated and modern look for the Peanuts gang.

The voice cast for the movie is also excellent. Bill Melendez, who voiced Snoopy in almost all of the previous Peanuts specials, returns to voice the beloved beagle once again. Linus is voiced by Austin Lux, who does an excellent job of capturing Linus's innocence and vulnerability. Other notable voice actors include Linda Ercoli as Lucy and Amanda Pace as Sally.

The movie has a great balance of humor and heart, with plenty of laughs mixed in with the emotional moments. The writers do an excellent job of exploring the themes of attachment and letting go, which are relevant to both children and adults.

Overall, Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown is a must-watch for fans of the Peanuts franchise. It captures the essence of the original comic strip while updating it for a modern audience. The animation, voice acting, and writing are all top-notch, making it a worthy addition to the Peanuts canon.
