Ep 3. Anniversary

Fran is feeling pretty positive about the whole divorce thing - in fact, she's throwing a party to celebrate the fact that she and Peter are finally free to start new lives! But as the day progresses, her enthusiasm begins to wane. Her guests, who were all looking forward to a night of "divorced people" revelry, gradually start to reveal their own unhappy truths, and before long, the festivities have turned into a psychotherapy session. Meanwhile, Fran's family is starting to express concern over her relationship status, and her mother wants her to wear her old wedding dress as a sign of respect for her ex-husband. It's all too much for Fran, who has to find a way to keep her chin up in the face of so much negativity. But as the night wears on, she begins to realize that she's not the only one facing life-changing decisions - and that maybe, just maybe, there's a way for everyone to be happy, even if it's not necessarily the way they expected.
