The chili becomes too spicy and Kelly becomes upset as she doesn't think she can enter it in the contest. Manny and the tools come to the rescue. They work together to help Kelly adjust the recipe by adding some cooling ingredients to bring down the heat.

As the day progresses, Chico becomes more comfortable with his new surroundings. He starts enjoying his time at preschool and even starts socializing with other dogs. Finally, the day comes to an end, and Manny comes to pick up Chico. To his surprise, Chico doesn't want to leave! In fact, he is having so much fun that he wants to stay longer.

In the end, Manny and the tools invite Chico to come back to the preschool the next day. They reassure him that he can handle whatever challenges come his way and that they will be there to support him. Kelly also enters her chili in the contest and wins first prize! She is ecstatic and grateful for Manny and the tools' help.
