Manny Garcia, a friendly handyman, runs a repair shop in his town, Sheetrock Hills. He and his loyal tools often find themselves in situations where they must use their teamwork skills to help others in need. In season 3 episode 10, titled "Big Race," Manny and his tools, along with their friends in Sheetrock Hills, prepare for the town’s annual bicycle race.
The story begins with Manny and his friend, Oscar, who is competing in the big race, getting his bike ready. However, Oscar's bike has a few problems that need repairing. Manny and his trusty crew of tools, which include Stretch, a tape measure, Squeeze, a pair of pliers, Felipe, a Phillips-head screwdriver, and Turner, a flathead screwdriver, get to work on fixing Oscar's bike.
While repairing the bike, Manny and his tools discover that Oscar has been practicing in secret and has made some adjustments to his bike to make it faster. The tools suggest adjusting the bike back to its original state, but Manny reminds them that it's Oscar's choice on how he wants to race.
Meanwhile, the town's other competitors, including Mayor Rosa and her granddaughter, Dusty, and Speedy, a speedy deliveryman, are also preparing for the race. Manny and Oscar decide to practice together, but Oscar's bike starts to malfunction again. The tools found out that the modifications he made before to the bike are dangerous and could cause him to lose the race and the tools convinced Oscar to revert the modifications so he could be safe during the race.
On the day of the race, Manny and his tools are at the starting line to cheer on Oscar and the other racers. As they're waiting for the race to start, Speedy shows off his new bike, which he claims will make him the fastest rider in town. The race starts, and it's a close one between Oscar and Speedy. However, after a few laps, Speedy's bike starts to break down. Manny and his tools come to the rescue and quickly repair Speedy's bike.
As the race comes to a close, Oscar is neck and neck with Dusty, the mayor's granddaughter. In a final push, Oscar crosses the finish line first, winning the race. Manny and his tools celebrate with Oscar as the town cheers on the new champion.
In the end, the episode concludes with Manny and his tools learning the importance of letting people make their own choices and not trying to control their decisions in the spirit of fair play. It's another fun-filled adventure for Manny and his tools, showcasing their can-do attitudes and problem-solving skills while teaching valuable life lessons about sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship along the way.
