In the second part of the episode, Merry Go Round, Manny and the tools attend a carnival in town. The highlight of the carnival is the merry-go-round, which suddenly stops working when Manny's friend, Mr. Lopart, tries to fix it. Manny steps in to help and discovers that the problem is much bigger than a simple fix. The entire system needs a complete overhaul, including the motor and gears. Once again, Manny and crew work together to put their skills to use to tackle the complex problem.

The episode also includes a subplot featuring Squeeze, the smallest tool in the crew, as he tries to win a stuffed animal prize at one of the carnival games.
