Ep 1. A Sticky Fix; Paint Job

Handy Manny is a popular Disney children's show that follows the adventures of a helpful and lovable handyman named Manny Garcia and his crew of talking tools. After completing the first job, Manny is called upon by Mr. Ayala to paint the outside of his house. Mr. Ayala wants his house to look perfect for the block party that's coming up. Manny and the tools get to work testing out different colors and finding the perfect combination. But, things don't go as planned when a group of mischievous birds starts to get in their way. Their first attempt to paint the house is ruined by the birds' interference. But the resilient Manny and his team don't give up and come up with a creative solution. They decide to paint the house in sections instead of all at once to avoid the birds. This new approach works, and the house looks fabulous, much to Mr. Ayala's delight.

Throughout the episode, the tools take on different jobs, including cutting a board to the size needed for the lever in Mrs. Portillo's cabinets, and checking Mr. Ayala's house for any spots that need repairing before painting. They also help Manny with his Spanish vocabulary, which is a recurring theme throughout the series. Manny, who is bilingual, often helps his Spanish-speaking clients communicate their needs and concerns, which helps to educate the show's young viewers about different languages and cultures.
