As Ohana continues to work hard at her new job as a waitress at the Kissuiso Inn, tensions rise between her and her co-worker Minko. The two have never gotten along since Ohana arrived at the inn, but things come to a head when Minko accuses Ohana of stealing her recipe notebook. Ohana denies the accusation and tries to clear her name, but Minko remains convinced that she's the culprit.

Meanwhile, Ohana's friend Ko arrives at the inn with his friend Yuina in tow. Ko is surprised to see that Ohana has been working at the inn and can't resist teasing her about it. Yuina, on the other hand, is intrigued by the inn's traditional style and decides to stay there for a few days.

As Ohana tries to navigate the tension with Minko and deal with the arrival of Ko and Yuina, she also begins to learn more about her grandparents. Her grandmother Sui, who owns the inn, is a strict and enigmatic woman who seems to have a difficult relationship with her mother. Ohana can't help but wonder what has caused this rift between the two women, and whether there is any way to heal it.

As the episode progresses, tensions continue to escalate between Ohana and Minko, with Minko becoming increasingly hostile towards her co-worker. Ohana tries her best to stay positive and keep her head down, but it becomes clear that something needs to change if the two of them are going to be able to work together. Meanwhile, Yuina seems to be getting along well with the other staff members, and even manages to charm Ohana's prickly grandmother, Sui.

Overall, episode 13 of Hanasaku Iroha is a tense and emotional installment that continues to explore the relationships between the characters. With the arrival of Ko and Yuina, as well as the continued conflict between Ohana and Minko, there is plenty of drama to keep viewers engaged. Additionally, the slow reveal of Ohana's family history adds an intriguing layer to the story, hinting at deeper conflicts and long-held grudges that may yet come to light.
