Ep 12. A Rough Pal's Proclamation

Hajime no Ippo is a Japanese anime television series about a high school student named Ippo Makunouchi, who is often bullied by his classmates. Things take a turn when he is rescued from his tormentors by a professional boxer named Takamura Mamoru, who inspires Ippo to take up boxing himself. Later, Coach Kamogawa asks Ippo to spar with one of his other boxers, who is much more skilled than the previous one.

Although he is nervous, Ippo manages to hold his own against the more experienced boxer and even lands a few good punches. At the end of the match, the other boxer congratulates Ippo on his progress and tells him that he has the potential to become a great boxer if he keeps working hard.

The episode ends with Ippo feeling confident and inspired after his sparring match. He is more determined than ever to become a great boxer and believes that with the help of Coach Kamogawa, Yagi, Takamura, and the rest of the boxers at the Kamogawa Boxing Gym, he can achieve his dreams.
