Ep 9. Riding for a Fall

Rikki, Emma, and Cleo are all seniors at their high school and they're feeling the pressure of exams and the end of the school year approaching. Rikki is particularly stressed out because she's applied for a job working with horses at the local stables, but she's not sure if she's got it. Her stress mounts when she finds out that Zane has also applied for the job.

Feeling like she's being pushed aside, Rikki decides to take a ride on a horse to clear her head. But when she falls off the horse, she becomes badly injured and her friends struggle to get her to safety and keep her wound from getting infected.

As Rikki struggles to recover, she begins to feel like she's not good enough to work with horses. But with encouragement from her friends and a little bit of magic from their mermaid powers, Rikki pushes herself to heal faster and try again for the job.

Meanwhile, Lewis is struggling with his own problems. He's been spending a lot of time with Charlotte, who's been acting strange lately. When Lewis discovers that she's been keeping a secret from him, he has to decide whether or not to trust her.

In the end, Rikki decides to apply for the job again, and this time, she gets it. Her friends are proud of her and celebrate her success. And even though they're all facing challenges and uncertainties in their lives, they know that they can always count on each other for support.
