In Gunsmoke season 1 episode 28, titled "The Killer," Marshal Matt Dillon finds himself in a difficult position when he arrests a man who is known for being a vicious killer. The man, named Cope, is accused of murdering two men in a nearby town, and Matt is determined to see him brought to justice.
