In Guin Saga, Season 1, Episode 3 "The Crimson Mercenary," we follow the story of Guin and the twins, Remus and Rinda, as they continue their journey to reach Narisaran, the dominion of the Count of Cheironia. The episode begins with the trio arriving at the city of Crystal, where they come across a mercenary group known as the Crimson Mercenaries. The Crimson Mercenaries are known for their combat skills and are hired to protect the city from any potential threats.

As our heroes interact with the mercenaries, we see a stark contrast between their personalities. Guin's honorable and altruistic nature stands in sharp contrast to the mercenaries' selfish and money-driven behavior. This is particularly evident when the mercenaries refuse to help a group of refugees who are seeking asylum within the city gates.

Guin, however, insists on helping the refugees, leading to a confrontation with the Crimson Mercenaries. This confrontation ultimately turns into a battle, with Guin forced to fight against overwhelming odds. However, with his incredible strength, he manages to hold his ground and protect the refugees.

Despite Guin's victory, the Crimson Mercenaries continue to treat the refugees with disdain. This leads to a heated argument between Guin and the mercenaries' leader, Kureha. Kureha challenges Guin to a fight, believing that her skills as a mercenary are superior to Guin's brute strength. Guin reluctantly agrees but quickly realizes that Kureha is a formidable opponent. The two engage in a fierce battle that showcases Kureha's combat skills and Guin's sheer power.

As the battle rages on, Remus and Rinda discover a major plot by the Count of Cheironia and his army to invade and conquer Narisaran, the very place they are trying to reach. Fearing for their lives and the fate of Narisaran, the twins decide to leave the city immediately and seek out the city's secret underground passage, which leads to Narisaran.

Meanwhile, despite being wounded in their fight, Kureha recognizes Guin's noble nature and ultimately decides to aid our heroes in their journey. She even allows the refugees to come along, giving them safety and shelter as they travel.

As episode 3 comes to an end, our heroes set out to reach Narisaran, traveling through the underground passage, with Kureha and her mercenary band joining them on their journey. As they travel through the dark and foreboding path, they encounter danger and mysterious creatures, making their journey even more perilous.

In conclusion, episode 3 of Guin Saga showcases the stark contrast between Guin's virtuous nature and the mercenary's selfish and money-driven motivations. Despite the conflict, our heroes emerge victorious and ultimately gain a new ally in the form of Kureha and her Crimson Mercenaries. With the added support, they continue their journey to reach Narisaran, where an even greater conflict awaits them.
