Growing Up Creepie is a 2006 animated television series following the story of an adopted girl named Creepie who was raised by insects. She attends Middlington Middle School, where she tries to fit in despite her unusual upbringing. In season 1 episode 14 titled "Creepie and the Candy Factory/The Ice Bug Cometh," Creepie and her classmates go on two different adventures.

In the first half of the episode, Creepie and her friends are excited to go on a field trip to the candy factory. While exploring the factory, Creepie overhears some ominous whispers. She investigates and discovers that the factory owner, Mr. Candyman, is using dangerous chemicals to make his candy taste better. Creepie must find a way to stop Mr. Candyman before he hurts anyone.

In the second half of the episode, the school's winter carnival is coming up, and Creepie is excited to go ice skating. However, the carnival is threatened by a strange ice bug that has been terrorizing the town. Everyone is afraid to go outside, but Creepie and her friend Chris decide to investigate. They discover that the ice bug is actually a mutated mosquito caused by global warming. Once again, Creepie and her friends must find a way to stop the danger and save the carnival.

Throughout the episode, viewers see Creepie's unique perspective on the world and her relationships with her insect family and human friends. The show teaches lessons about nature, environmentalism, and the importance of being true to oneself. "Creepie and the Candy Factory/The Ice Bug Cometh" is an entertaining and educational episode that children and adults alike will enjoy.
