Ep 21. Magnetic Bear

Grizzy and the Lemmings is a delightful animated series featuring a bear named Grizzy and a herd of mischievous lemmings living in a forest ranger's house. In season one episode twenty-one, titled "Magnetic Bear," Grizzy's craving for pancakes leads him to a clever solution involving Magnetism.

The episode opens with Grizzy waking up from hibernation and searching for breakfast. He heads over to the pantry only to find it completely empty. As he scans the shelves, he notices that there are no pancakes for him to eat. Frustrated and hungry, he decides to track down the pack of pancakes that he had saved from the previous season.

Grizzy soon makes a shocking discovery; the pancakes are hanging upside down from the refrigerator. Confused by the situation, the bear tries to reach them but fails. He then realizes that the pancakes are attached to the fridge with a magnet.

Grizzy quickly devises a plan to remove the pancakes using magnetism since he knows that he won't be able to reach them with his bare paws. The lemmings are outside, practicing magnet fishing, and Grizzy comes up with a way to trick them into helping him.

The bear sneaks up behind the lemmings and uses a giant horseshoe magnet to attract their fishing rods. The lemmings are confused when their magnets start flying towards the house, but they soon realize that something fishy is going on.

Grizzy then manages to nab the fishing rods and pulls them towards the pancakes. The lemmings eagerly take the bait and follow Grizzy's lead, hoping to catch something big and exciting. The bear keeps moving the pancake box close to the window, and the lemmings grab and pull the fishing rods with all their might. Finally, Grizzy's plan succeeds, the pancakes drop to the floor, and he gobbles them up.

But, as always, there's a twist. A passing duck sees this whole affair and decides to capitalize on the good fortune. The duck steals some pancakes that were left behind and runs away. Grizzy gives chase and ends up in a ridiculous squabble with the winged thief. The ducks chase each other all around the forest until Grizzy finally goes back to the house defeated.

The lemmings witness the whole drama and decide to play a practical joke on Grizzy. They create a magnet the size of a car and tie it to the bear's butt. As Grizzy walks around, the magnetic force attracts all kinds of metal objects, leaving him with an unwanted, clunky trail. The lemmings chase him, laughing hysterically, and Grizzy is left frustrated.

As the episode winds down, we see that Grizzy finally had enough and manages to get rid of the magnet by sticking it to a tree. He returns to the house, only to find that the lemmings have ruined his hot tub with their magnet fishing.

Overall, "Magnetic Bear" is a fun, enjoyable episode of Grizzy and the Lemmings that showcases the cartoon's creative storytelling and playful sense of humor. Fans of the show will love seeing Grizzy's magnet experiment and the lemmings' hilarious antics.
