In the seventh episode of season two of Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids, entitled "The Giant Who Grew Too Big For His Boots," viewers will be introduced to a massive giant named Brutus. Brutus is known throughout the land as the strongest and biggest giant around. He spends his days terrorizing villages, pillaging crops, and taking whatever he wants. Brutus's size and strength have allowed him to grow complacent, arrogant, and lazy. He has forgotten about the things that truly matter in life and thinks only about himself. One day, after a particularly robust breakfast, Brutus finds that his boots no longer fit him. He has grown so big that even his favorite pair of boots no longer fit. He decides to go to the shoemaker to get new boots. The shoemaker, an old and wise man, sees something in Brutus that he does not see in himself. He takes Brutus on a journey through the forest to teach him about what he is missing in life.
Along the way, the shoemaker shows the giant how to care for the land and the animals that live there. He shows him how to plant seeds, water them, and watch them grow. He shows him the beauty in nature and explains how everything is connected in the world. The giant is amazed by what he sees and hears, but he is still not convinced that this is what he wants to do with his life.
After the journey through the forest, Brutus returns home and decides to continue with his usual ways. However, he soon realizes that he is missing something in his life. He is no longer satisfied with just being the biggest and strongest giant around. He knows he needs to make a change to find true happiness. He remembers the lessons the shoemaker taught him and decides to try his hand at farming.
Over time, Brutus begins to see the fruits of his labor. He watches as his crops grow, and he feels proud of what he has accomplished. He starts to enjoy caring for the land and the animals that live on it. He even starts helping other giants with their farms. Brutus is no longer the selfish, greedy giant he once was. He has transformed into a kind, caring, and generous giant.
In the end, Brutus thanks the shoemaker for showing him the true meaning of life. He realizes that being big and strong means nothing without a purpose. He tells the shoemaker that he will pass on what he has learned to other giants in hopes that they too will find happiness like he has.
