As the final season of Grimm heats up, episode 11 opens with the plot thickening as our beloved characters take on a new case. This episode, entitled "Where the Wild Things Were," centers around the classic fairy tale "Where the Wild Things Are," which gives our favorite detectives a clue into the case they're working on.
Nick Burkhardt (played by David Giuntoli) and his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) are investigating a string of murders that appear to be connected to the story, but with their special Grimm powers, they know there's more than meets the eye. Joined by Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner), the group begins to piece together the clues and work their way toward the truth.
Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) is struggling with her past as Juliette and the fact that her powers are growing stronger by the day. She fears that her newfound abilities may be putting her friends in danger. Elsewhere, Adalind (Claire Coffee) works to rebuild her relationship with Nick, but with so much on their plates, it's unclear whether the two will make it through to the other side.
Back to the case, the team finally makes a breakthrough when they discover that the creature they're dealing with is a Wesen known as a "Zarafa." This creature's past is linked to a young girl who disappeared in the woods years ago, and Nick and his team believe that the Zarafa is the key to unraveling her disappearance and cracking the case.
As they delve deeper into the investigation, the stakes continue to rise, and the team must race against time to stop the killer before he can strike again. All while dealing with their own personal demons and struggles along the way.
In typical Grimm fashion, the episode is packed with action, suspense, and mystical twists and turns. Fans of the show are sure to be on the edge of their seats throughout the entire hour, as the group works to solve the case and tie up loose ends before the series comes to a close.
Overall, "Where the Wild Things Were" is a thrilling addition to the final season of Grimm, keeping viewers invested in the story until the very end.
